We are delighted to introduce our latest collection of joyful candle holders, LouLou in a wide array of colours, created by the renowned designer Charles Kalpakian.
The project deepens the collaboration between designer Kalpakian and Louise Varre, the creator of Eldvarm. Both are captivated by humanity’s ancient bond with fire. While lighting a fire may not always be possible, burning a candle remains a simple yet profound act. There is an inherent magic in the flicker of a flame, whether by yourself on a rainy day or during a long evening with friends.
Founder and CEO of Eldvarm, Louise Varre, explains:
“I believe that we all share a collective memory of the flame’s importance and that this sparks something deep within us.”
Kalpakian’s creation, reminiscent of recurring ripples, combines whimsicalness with tenderness, and a hint of nostalgia. LouLou’s pattern evokes playful memories, akin to childhood moments in the waves. Life often presents itself in waves, and these ripples mirror that comforting, constant rhythm.
