How to use your Emma Blow Poker

How to use the Emma Blow Poker - it's a two in one tool, an essential for your fireplace

It’s almost impossible to choose a favourite Eldvarm product but if we really had to, it might just be the Emma Blow Poker. This sleek tool is absolutely essential for building and maintaining your perfect fire.

Emma Olbers has cleverly designed this product to act as a two in one, allowing you to use it as both a bellows and a poker. Let us talk you through making the most of this multipurpose product…

Emma Blow Poker is a 2 in 1 tool, shown is the hole which can be blown through, replacing need for bellows

As a bellows

At the top of the blow poker is a brass mouthpiece attached to the wooden handle. Gently blow through this mouthpiece to get the fire going. When using the blow poker as a bellows there are a couple of safety points to bear in mind. Make sure to blow gently in order to have maximum control over the fire and remember to move your mouth away as you breathe in to avoid inhaling any ashes.

As a poker

The wooden handle makes this an easy poker to manage, the shape of it fitting comfortably into your hand. The small hook at the other end makes it easier to manage your fire as you poke and lift your logs. When handling the blow poker in the flame, be sure not to touch the metal body of the product as it will be very hot. Please be aware that whilst our products are highly resistant to fire we do not advise leaving them to sit directly in the flame for extended periods of time.

So there you have it. A truly unique, stylish and practical tool with which to tend to your fire. The Emma Blow Poker can be bought separately or as part of our iconic Emma Companion Set and the Emma Wall Set
