How to display your Emma Companion Set

A quick guide on how to correctly display your Emma Companion Set.

We love spotting our Emma Companion Set in homes around the world. However, we have noticed some imaginative alternatives to how the set was designed to be displayed.

Maybe it’s our Swedish side, where form follows function, but every tool has been carefully designed according to practicality. They are displayed in this way to avoid damage and to be easy to use. Luckily, it looks great too. To clear up any confusion we’ve put together a guide in order to ensure that you get the most out of your tools.

The Emma Companion Set was designed by our award-winning designer Emma Olbers to be displayed as shown in the image below.

How to place your tools?

From left to right, we place the brush above the shovel, then the blow poker and finally the tongs.

There are a number of reasons for this:

  • If the shovel sits above the brush, the shovel hits the handle of the brush.
  • Placing the brush beneath the shovel means that the bristles risk coming into contact with the hot blow poker, risking damage.
  • It is also important to prevent metal parts from knocking against each other in order to avoid chipping the powder coating.
  • We think it looks better!

Our shovel, brush and blow poker are designed with a conical neck beneath the handle. This allows them to be slotted into place easily and will ensure that they do not fall out.
