100% natural fibres
When it came to the brush bristles, we knew that we needed bristles that would maintain their shape over time and effectively clean a fireplace. It was also very important to us to avoid using synthetic materials. When we couldn’t find anything that met our standards, we created our own unique blend of 100% natural fibres.
Our unique bristles are a perfect combination of 50% Tampico (from the root of the agave cactus) and 50% horsehair. We selected Tampico for its heat resistance and shape retention, this material is traditionally used by bakers in their ovens. We loved the classic look of horsehair so we incorporated it into our blend as well. Horsehair is excellent for collecting fine dust and also adds that classic aesthetic.
Easy to use
We made sure to design fireplace tools that not only look good, but are easy to use. Our shovel and brush duo are the perfect pair. The fireplace shovel has a blade that is wide and deep enough to easily empty the ashes without spilling any on the floor, while the short handle of the brush enables you to clean even the smallest of stoves with maximum control and efficiency. The handles themselves are made of FSC-certified wood and fit perfectly into the hands that hold them, making these tools a joy to use.
