Introducing Fumi Trays
The Fumi series grows around the table. With the Fumi Tray, Eldvarm continues to expand the Fumi collection designed by French designer Guillaume Delvigne. Available in two sizes, Small and Large, the trays bring the same geometric language and visible craftsmanship of the Fumi series to an object built around a simple gesture: bringing something to someone.
A tray shaped around the gesture of sharing
Both tray sizes are generous enough to carry everything you need. The wood handles (walnut or ash) are full and comfortable, sitting naturally in the hand. The powder-coated steel body folds up and around them, enveloping the wood rather than simply meeting it. Raised borders keep everything in place, so there is no hesitation when moving through the house or stepping outside. The trays are built to go wherever the moment takes you, from kitchen to table, from fireside to garden.
Brass screws remain deliberately visible at the joints, a signature detail of the Fumi collection. In the Noir colourway, black steel hardware replaces the brass, shifting the tone while keeping the same principle: what can be seen can be maintained.
"I kept returning to the idea of holding. The metal wraps around the wood, the hand wraps around the handle, the Large tray receives the Small. Nothing is left without a place. That feeling of belonging is what holds the whole collection together."

A Place for Everything
The project began with a clear ambition: trays that are beautiful, practical and easy to store. A dual purpose storage piece was designed alongside the trays. The Fumi Stand & Shelf can be mounted to the wall and holds one or two trays upright, keeping them visible and within reach. It can also be placed on any flat surface, holding the trays in place against a wall. The Fumi Stand & Shelf can also be used for displaying a favourite book or a piece of art.
“I have always believed that practical and beautiful should be the same thing. You can fill the Fumi Tray, carry it across the room, and then store it or display it with a few favourite pieces. Nothing is compromised.”
