Introducing the Fumi Series

Where French Design Meets Scandinavian Simplicity.

Eldvarm unveils a new fireplace collection today that marks its most significant launch in a decade. Created in collaboration with French designer Guillaume Delvigne, the Fumi series brings refined functionality to contemporary living through two essential pieces: the Fumi Companion Set and the Fumi Log Holder. Both celebrate visible craftsmanship and geometric elegance.

Fumi Companion Set

Essential tools for the modern hearth. Designed to be displayed as proudly as they are used, the Fumi Companion Set turns tending your fire into a ritual of artful simplicity.

Inspired by the elegant geometry of Japanese fan-shaped brushes, the design explores soft curves and balanced proportions. “I wanted to create something you are happy to show, not just use,” says Delvigne. “Display the tools in a scenographic way, like artwork within a frame.”

The design celebrates visible craftsmanship through intentional material choices. Rather than concealing connections, carefully selected screws remain visible throughout each piece. “Louise appreciated the sculptural aspect of my work,” notes Delvigne. “The balance between precise, industrial metal pieces and the warmth that crafted wood brings.”

This transparency serves both aesthetic and practical purposes. Every element can be seen, cared for and replaced when needed, reinforcing Eldvarm’s commitment to longevity and sustainable design.

Fumi Log Holder

Geometric beauty that extends beyond the fireside.

The Fumi Log Holder follows the same geometric language as the companion set. The powder coated steel construction, folded and shaped with precision, creates a structure that balances visual lightness with functional strength.

Though designed for storing logs, its form equally invites other uses as a holder for magazines, towels, or other everyday essentials. This adaptability reflects the union of Delvigne’s refined French sensibility with Eldvarm’s Scandinavian clarity. The result is a collection where industrial precision meets the warmth of natural materials, creating pieces that feel both intentional and approachable.

“Guillaume manages to do what is so hard: minimal but not simplistic design. It feels intentional and thoughtful, with a very harmonious balance. Everything in the Fumi collection is made with the same attention to detail and quality that Eldvarm is already known for. We continue to build on our ethos: the products must be beautiful to look at, have great functionality and last for a really long time. I feel we have done it again.”
